mobiSigner Central Credential Solution is a complete software solution for secure management of user credentials. It helps organization to create and securely manage user credential, at central server location. Solution is based on client-server architecture, having mobiSigner credential solution on server for credential management and ProSigner (electronic signature software) as client-side software for using these credentials for electronic signing of files on user PC.

Credential management with mobiSigner credential server

mobiSigner Central Credential Solution is administrator controlled solution. It allows administrators to create, store & manage user credentials at central location (central server). All the administration functionalities in mobiSigner require authentication, which provides extra security to credential management. Electronic credentials of users created on this server can be accessed through ProSigner on desktop, to sign any electronic document.

mobiSigner Central Credential Solution supports active directory authentication and takes input from existing LDAP directory. This enables IT administrators of an organization, to use the existing set of users in enterprise LDAP along with their respective passwords for creating credentials. Other options for creating credentials are also available.

mobiSigner Central Credential Solution comes with online application (web interface) which allows organizations to implement, “On-the-move” PDF signing functionality, useful for its top management. This allows top management executives to sign PDF files using their credentials from Any where, at Any time, from Any internet enabled device. They can also sign these PDF files through mobile devices.

ProSigner for electronic signing of files on user PC

ProSigner (electronic signature software) is client-side desktop software, which uses electronic credentials from mobiSigner Central Credential Solution. ProSigner enables users to electronically sign any electronic document/file on their desktop, using electronic credentials stored at central location. When used with Central Credential Solution, ProSigner DOES NOT allow creation of new user credential at user end. From the perspective of enterprise IT policy, this is an extra security feature, which prevents creation of unauthorized user credentials. With ProSigner users can embed visible signatures in Word, Excel & PDF files.

With the signature capture wizard in ProSigner, users can create image of their handwritten signature on provided canvas. Users can draw signature either with mouse or wintab compliant e-pad device. Later users can upload this handwritten signature image to central credential server mobiSigner, through provided web interface. This handwritten signature image is then associated with user’s electronic credential while signing any electronic document/file on their desktop.
